What if a beauty product became so large that it turned into the centrepiece of an event?
In the cosmetics industry, packaging design is much more than an aesthetic choice. Colours, shapes and small details help create a brand identity that people can recognise almost instantly.
At Hinchables Pro, we took this idea to a completely different scale, creating two custom inflatable replicas of Trouble Maker cosmetic products for a promotional event: a 150 cm tall LOCK IN AURA MIST setting spray and a distinctive round cosmetic product featuring orange tones and an eye-catching pink centre.
Two very different products with one shared challenge: preserving their original identity while transforming them into oversized three-dimensional structures designed to attract attention at the event.
From Packaging Design to Inflatable Replica
The project began with careful graphic preparation.
Pati, our main contact throughout the process, prepared the vector artwork, provided the Pantone colour references and shared the technical specifications needed to accurately reproduce both products.
This collaboration was essential in adapting the original designs to inflatable structures while maintaining their proportions, colours and graphic elements.
The challenge wasn't simply to enlarge an image. It was about turning two cosmetic packages into three-dimensional objects, preserving the details that make each product recognisable from different angles.
Two Products, Two Different Design Approaches
The first inflatable recreates the LOCK IN AURA MIST setting spray, measuring 150 cm in height and approximately 30 cm in diameter.
Its cylindrical body features a vibrant pink colour, complete with the original lettering and graphic details. The upper section reproduces the distinctive shape of the spray dispenser, with its circular profile and transparent cover.
This particular feature adds a realistic finishing touch, helping the oversized replica maintain the visual character of the original product.
The second design takes a completely different approach: a round inflatable cosmetic product replica, approximately 70–80 cm tall, 75–85 cm wide and 30 cm deep.
Its rounded shape combines orange and golden tones with a large pink central detail, featuring printed gradients, highlights and reflective effects.
One of the client's specific requirements concerned this central feature: it also needed to appear on the back of the inflatable, ensuring that the replica looked attractive from both sides.
An important detail for a promotional event, where visitors may see the display from several different angles.
Why Details Matter in Custom Advertising Inflatables
Both replicas were produced using 0.35 mm PVC with an airtight inflation system, allowing them to remain inflated without the need for a continuously running blower.
Custom printing played a key role in achieving the desired appearance. From the lettering on the spray bottle to the colour transitions and highlights on the circular product, every graphic element was adapted to the three-dimensional shape.
Workshop photographs show the two completed replicas fully inflated, highlighting the attention given to their shapes, proportions and printed finishes.
When Packaging Becomes an Event Attraction
An inflatable cosmetic product replica can be much more than an enlarged version of its original packaging.
It offers a creative way to bring a brand's visual identity into a physical space, creating a recognisable display for product launches, promotional events, beauty exhibitions and branded installations.
In this project, two cosmetic packages with entirely different shapes became custom oversized inflatable advertising displays, while retaining the distinctive features of the original products.
