For this project, we created a 150 cm diameter inflatable reproduction of Mercury, designed to be part of an exhibition dedicated to space exploration.
The piece will be presented in Madrid on 3 October 2026, as part of a science outreach event of the European Space Agency (ESA).
Mercury was produced as an airtight inflatable, with full-surface high-definition printing and internal lighting, adapting the artwork to the spherical shape to reproduce the colours, craters and distinctive details of the planet’s surface.
Thanks to the airtight system, the sphere does not require continuous airflow during use, while the internal lighting enhances the printed graphics and increases its visual impact within the exhibition space.
