At Hinchables Pro, we developed a custom inflatable planet measuring 2 metres in diameter, designed for a science outreach event and conceived as a high-impact visual element for exhibitions and educational spaces.
The structure was manufactured with a continuous-air system, internal lighting and an integrated base, creating a compact, stable and visually clean installation.
The full-surface print reproduces a Sun-inspired texture, with orange, yellow and reddish tones that become especially striking when combined with the internal lighting.
An inflatable planet designed for exhibitions
The objective was to create a large-format piece capable of attracting visitors’ attention and supporting educational content related to astronomy and the Solar System.
The 2-metre diameter gives the planet a strong presence within the exhibition space, while the integrated base allows the structure to be presented as a single unit without the need for visually intrusive external supports.
Continuous air, internal lighting and integrated base
The planet operates using a continuous-air system, remaining connected to a blower during use in order to maintain its shape and volume.
The base is integrated directly into the inflatable structure, making positioning easier and creating a cleaner overall appearance.
An internal lighting system is also incorporated, enhancing the printed artwork and adding greater visual depth to the sphere.
Full-surface custom printing
The entire surface of the planet was customised using full-colour all-over printing, with the artwork adapted to the spherical geometry.
This allows the design to remain visible from virtually every angle, making the inflatable particularly suitable for museums, exhibitions and events where visitors can move around the piece.
